In de januari-editie van Linux-Magazine verschijnt een artikel over de grafische firewall-toepasing 'Guarddog', die door KDE-developer Simon Edwards geschreven is. Het artikel beschrijft de configuratie van een persoonlijke firewall, de functionaliteit van het programma en geeft ook wat handige tips in gebruik, zoals het exporteren van de firewall-instellingen naar andere machines met behulp van scripts en het loggen van gegevens van je firewall.

The upcoming January's edition of Linux-Magazine features an article about 'Guarddog', a GUI-based firewall application developed by Simon Edwards. The article explains the configuration of a firewall as well as a couple of special features such as exporting the firewall settings as simple scripts in order to use it on other machines and logging of firewall related data.
